Mr. Pace is co-founder and Vice-Chairman of Pacific Urban Investors, a subsidiary of Marcus & Millichap Companies. He is a graduate of the University of San Francisco and a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Mr. Pace spent fourteen years with multifamily pension fund advisor SSR Realty Advisors (now BlackRock) and its predecessor configurations (Fox, Metric, etc) culminating in the position of Managing Director, National Acquisitions. Pension advisory clients included CalPERS, CalSTRS, the Alaska Permanent Fund, City and County of San Francisco, Colorado PERA and others. Since 1986, Mr. Pace has been both an investment advisor and principal in the acquisition of apartment communities totaling more than 32,000 units and $8.5 billion dollars. Mr. Pace is a thirty-year member and Executive Director of the National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC), actively engaged in issues impacting the multifamily industry. In addition, Mr. Pace sits on the Multifamily Blue Council of the Urban Land Institute.

As Chief Executive Officer for Related California's Northern California Affordable and Northwest Divisions, Ms. Silverberg is responsible for the strategic direction, overall management and daily operation of the company's over $3.5 billion affordable portfolio in Northern California and Oregon. She has been directly responsible for the growth of the affordable pipeline in Northern California and Oregon to over 5,000 units under construction and in pre-development. Prior to joining Related California, Ms. Silverberg was Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at BRIDGE Housing Corporation where she was responsible for directing and overseeing their Northern California Division. She led the development and redevelopment of more than 8,000 affordable, mixed-income, mixed-use and transit-oriented housing units, including the acquisition and redevelopment of nearly 1,000 public housing units in San Francisco and Sacramento, the joint venture development of mixed-income residential units in Milpitas. She was also responsible for the capital aggregation and placement of equity and debt for their Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and non-LIHTC developments and has overseen the negotiation and placement of over $3 billion in project level debt and equity. She is a recipient of the Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence and Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business awards by the San Francisco Business Times, and has been recognized twice as one of the most dynamic women in commercial real estate by BISNOW. Ms. Silverberg is the immediate past chair of the Board of Directors of the California Housing Consortium and was a co-chair of California State Treasurer Ma’s California Debt Limit Allocation Committee/Tax Credit Allocation Committee Working Group. She currently serves as the co-chair of the Bay Area Council Housing Policy Committee and is on the Housing Policy Committee of the San Francisco Bay Area Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR). She was appointed to the SF Housing Leadership Council, is a board member of the San Francisco Housing Action Coalition (SFHAC), a co-chair of the ULI San Francisco Local Product Council, and past president of the Board of Directors of the Non-Profit Housing Association of Northern California. Ms. Silverberg is a faculty lecturer in the College of Environmental Design at the University of California, Berkeley where she teaches a graduate level methods class in project analysis. She holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Kenneth T. Lombard, President & CEO, is responsible for the overall direction of BRIDGE Housing, a leading nonprofit developer, owner and manager of affordable housing. He joined BRIDGE in November 2021. Over a career that spans three decades, Mr. Lombard has garnered extensive experience in business development, management, investment banking, economic development, corporate expansion and real estate investment. Mr. Lombard joins BRIDGE from Seritage Growth Properties (NYSE: SRG), where he served most recently as Special Advisor; he was an original Board member when Seritage went public in 2015 and subsequently served as Seritage’s EVP and COO. Seritage is a self-administered and self-managed REIT with properties totaling approximately 39 million square feet of space across 49 states and Puerto Rico. Earlier, Mr. Lombard was President of MacFarlane Partners, an investment management firm that acquires, develops and manages real estate assets on behalf of pensions and institutional investors. Prior to joining MacFarlane Partners, Mr. Lombard served as Vice Chairman, Partner and head of investments for Capri Capital Partners, and President of the Capri Urban Fund, which invested in more than $1 billion in commercial, residential and mixed-use development, redevelopment and repositioning projects in densely populated urban markets of the U.S. From 2004 to 2008, Mr. Lombard was President of Starbucks Entertainment, where he managed the collaboration with Concord Music to form a new Starbucks music label. In 1992, Mr. Lombard co-founded Johnson Development Corporation and spent 12 years as the President and Partner of the firm, creating a legacy of economic improvement in underserved communities of color in 65 cities and 17 states. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Washington.

Aaron Reuter is Senior Vice President of Investments for Veritas Investments and has over 19 years of industry experience. Mr. Reuter focuses on multifamily investment activities for the Bay Area with a particular focus on the City of San Francisco and Oakland. Prior to joining Veritas, Mr. Reuter held senior positions at Swift Real Estate Partners, The Green Cities Company, and Prologis. Mr. Reuter holds a BA from UCLA and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

Riaz Taplin has been thinking about workforce housing for most of his professional life. Growing up in a real estate family, Riaz detoured early in his career from the family business to develop his own style by founding a design/build firm and developing over 50 ultra-luxury residences in the Bay Area. Completing his last project just before the great recession, Riaz refocused his vision to workforce housing in Oakland. Over the next decade, Riaz built a portfolio of over 1,300 units in the workforce housing category. In the process, Riaz consistently worked to innovate market-rate approaches to workforce housing, also known as naturally-occurring affordable housing. In successive projects and ventures, Riaz explored co-living, adaptive reuse micro-units, student housing, and traditional ground-up construction – all of which led to the firm’s custom workforce housing solution – the ABD Studio. Today, Riaz leads Riaz Capital, a vertically integrated workforce housing developer and institutional-grade sponsor with a core team of over fifty professionals managing a portfolio of over 1,300 units, and with over 1,000 residences in the pipeline. Riaz is a board member of the Oakland Promise, the urban planning think tank SPUR, and co-chair of the American India Foundation SF Bay Area board. He earned a B.A. in Economic History from the London School of Economics.

Phoebe Zhang is a Director at DivcoWest Ventures, an early and growth-stage fund that invests in technologies shaping the future of real estate and the urban environment. DivcoWest Ventures is part of DivcoWest, a vertically integrated real estate investment firm. Previously, Phoebe was a Senior Consultant at IBM’s Strategy and Corporate Development team where she helped the company in identifying new growth opportunities and potential acquisitions in the data and AI sector. Before that, she was an Investment Banking Associate at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong, offering advice to technology firms on equity financing. Phoebe holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from University of British Columbia.

Fast forward to today, and Katherine now leads as the Vice President for Northern California at Jamboree Housing, a pivotal role in one of the region's premier endeavors to provide unparalleled affordable housing and vital services. Her career tapestry is woven with varied experiences, each adding depth to her understanding of housing sectors. At Jamboree, Katherine not only shapes strategic directions but also plays an integral role in developing, financing, and managing affordable housing initiatives across Northern California. Her deep-seated understanding of housing finance intricacies combined with strategic vision ensures the seamless realization of housing projects. Her tenure as Vice President of Housing Development at Domus Development bore witness to her unmatched proficiency. Here, she was central to the development and financing of nine significant affordable housing properties throughout California, collectively valued at $225 million. During her tenure as the Finance Director for USA Properties Fund, Inc., Katherine orchestrated a remarkable $500 million in debt and equity financing, spearheading the development of over 6,000 multifamily rental housing units across California and Nevada. At SHRA, Katherine worked closely with Jamboree on the renovation of the Hotel Berry which is one of her most rewarding affordable housing projects to date, With contributions to non-profit entities like the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corporation (TNDC) and LIFESTEPS, and her for-profit experiences, Katherine presents a holistic and comprehensive approach to housing development. A graduate of Westmont College, Katherine further enhanced her academic credentials with Pre-MBA coursework from California State University Sacramento. Her commitment to sustainability is evident from her certification as a Green Building Professional from Build It Green. Outside of work, Katherine enjoys cooking, music, art and watching her youngest son play baseball. In the evolving domain of housing, Katherine McFadden remains a paradigm of expertise and dedication, synergizing her extensive public and private experiences to ensure Northern California's residents have unfettered access to quality, affordable housing.

Tony Cardoza is responsible for Cityview’s acquisition activities throughout the West Coast. He has 21 years of experience in real estate investment and management. Previously, Tony ran the investment group for Real Estate Capital Partners in the Western U.S., which developed and acquired over 5,000 multifamily units. Prior to that, he worked for Prometheus Real Estate Group in a land and multifamily acquisitions role on the West Coast. Tony holds a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley

Kabir Seth serves as a Principal at Presidio Bay Ventures, overseeing a portfolio valued at over $2.3 billion across the United States. He is actively involved in all operations including new business development, financial underwriting, entitlements, community outreach, asset management, project accounting and investor relations. Kabir also leads the continued growth and development of the Presidio Bay Real Estate Scholarship Program, which provides young professionals from underrepresented communities a variety of educational, mentorship, and professional development opportunities via a curated and experiential 10-week learning program. Prior to joining Presidio Bay, Kabir was a member of the Structured Finance Team at SolarCity, now a subsidiary of Tesla, Inc., where he structured more than $300 million in asset-backed debt, including the first publicly rated securitization of solar asset receivables. Kabir started his career in technology investment banking at GCA Global (now Houlihan Lokey), where he focused on private capital and M&A advisory work. Kabir studied at the University of California, Berkeley (UCB) where he completed his degrees in Economics and Mathematics. Originally from Dubai, Kabir enjoys the urban and cosmopolitan lifestyle of San Francisco where he has made his second home. When he isn’t working or with family, he can be found on the golf course, running, surfing, or enjoying a variety of outdoor recreational activities around the Bay.

Maxim Shapiro started Novateur in 2018 after moving to California for love. And building Novateur has been a labor of love. Currently based in Dublin, CA, Maxim’s goal is to grow Novateur to have multiple locations throughout the state of California and perhaps beyond. Prior to starting Novateur, Maxim worked as a lender doing new originations and distressed workouts. Maxim was also a member of a private equity firm that invested in retail assets throughout Europe before the Great Recession of 2008-2010. That is where Maxim got his start in commercial real estate and learned to underwrite and value assets. Maxim was born in the Soviet Union and speaks fluent Russian. Having grown up in the Boston area and spent many years there, he now lives in the Bay Area. Maxim spends most of his free time with his partner, Katya, and with his dog, Jim.
